Projecte Pony Cum Jar fa referència a una sèrie de virus 4canal fils publicats per un anònim /mlp/ usuari en què va compartir fotografies de progrés d'un pot de vidre que contenia a Rainbow Dash figureta que havia anat omplint de semen. El projecte va guanyar notorietat després que el 27 de novembre de 2014, l'usuari informés d'haver escalfat accidentalment el contingut del pot, amb la història àmpliament divulgada als mitjans. En els anys següents, el Projecte Pony Cum Jar es va convertir en una referència popular a les xarxes socials, amb alguns usuaris recreant el projecte amb altres figuretes.

Origen

L'1 d'abril de 2014, un usuari anònim de 4chan va publicar una fotografia d'un pot de vidre que contenia una figura de El meu petit poni personatge Rainbow Dash, amb el pot també conté una petita quantitat d'esperma humà (es mostra a continuació, a l'esquerra; imatge no arxivada).^[1] A la publicació, l'usuari va descriure el pot i el seu contingut com a 'projecte pony cum jar'. Durant els mesos següents, l'usuari va publicar imatges del progrés del projecte al tauler /mlp/ (exemple es mostra a continuació, a la dreta; imatge no arxivada).^[2]^[3]^[4]

L'11 de novembre de 2014, l'usuari va mostrar una fotografia que va revelar que el contingut del pot s'havia bullit després d'haver deixat accidentalment el pot sobre un radiador que funcionava (fil que es mostra a continuació).^[5]^[6]

Precursor

El projecte Pony Cum Jar probablement es va inspirar en Jizzus Crist , un usuari anònim de 4chan que, a partir del 2007, va publicar fotos anuals en què mostrava la seva suposada col·lecció de semen que havia ejaculat de l'any anterior. El 2018, Jizzus Christ va admetre que les publicacions eren falses.

Propagació

El 30 de novembre de 2014, Tumblr l'usuari cooldudebro va publicar la fotografia del pot del fil del 27 de novembre, citant la publicació (que es mostra a continuació).^[7] La publicació va rebre més de 21.700 m'agrada i reblogs en cinc anys.

Projectes Copycat

L'octubre de 2019, diversos usuaris d'iFunny van començar o van publicar mems en què pretenien començar projectes de Cum Jar amb diverses figuretes.

El 4 d'octubre de 2019, l'usuari d'iFunny MikuCumJarProject (User_69420) va anunciar que omplirà un pot de vidre que conté un Hatsune Miku figureta amb el seu esperma,^[20] amb la publicació del 8 d'octubre que mostrava la figureta i el pot que s'entregaven guanyant més de 2.000 somriures (publicacions que es mostren a continuació, al centre i a l'esquerra).^[21] No obstant això, a partir de l'11 de desembre de 2019, no es va publicar cap imatge que confirmés que els projectes s'havien iniciat. A partir del 21 de novembre de 2019, l'usuari d'iFunny EpsteinCumJarProject (també EpsteinCoomJarProject) va publicar fotografies de progrés d'un pot que contenia un Jeffrey Epstein figureta que s'omple de semen (exemple mostrat a continuació, a la dreta).^[22]^[23]
